This presentation was used in the Open Access Week 2013. I organised a succesfull afternoon symposium at the TU DElft Library. My presentation was in overall introduction, so and others could go more into depth.

These are the tools we use to promote and facilitate Open Access
These are the recent figures of records and files in the TU Delft Repository
To preserve precious research data we created a datacenter together with the technical universities of Eindhoven and Twente. Since a few months this datacenter has an alliance with DANS (the alpha and gamma version of a datacenter) in Research Data Netherlands.
Last year the OA fund approved 100 applications. Most of them articles in OA journal. And most of them for the science domain. So in thinking how to facilitaite also the engineering and design domain we decided to work together with publishers of monographs too
We also host software to create your own journal at Delft University.
We stimulate editors to apply for NWO or European funding and bring them in contact with Open Access publishers.
We are there for the authors with an Copyrights information point
Last January we applied for funding to facilitate open science training for European Research in the framework 7 program. The [project is called foster and received a positive evaluation very recently.
