What is a vegetarian?
-A vegetarian is a person who does not eat animal flesh, or in some cases, animal products

Reasons to become a Vegetarian
Help take a stand against Animal Cruelty
Half of the world’s rainforests are being destroyed for cattle grazing grounds for beef burgers. This contributes to 20% of Greenhouse gases.
Diseases are commoner among meat eaters:
Anemia, appendicitis, arthritis, breast canter…
It takes 2,500 gallons of water to product one pound of meat. This is where our world’s fresh water shortage is going.

Types of Vegetarians
Being a vegetarian doesn’t always mean giving up every food you love. You can help become a vegetarian while choosing what you can and can’t consume
Pescatarian: Those who abstain from eating all meat and animal flesh besides fish.
Lacto-ovo- vegetarian: Those who do not eat beef, pork, poultry, fish, selfish, or any kind of animal flesh. But do eat eggs and dairy products
Flexitarian/Semi-Vegetarian: Those who eat a mostly vegetarian diet, but occasionally eat meat.
Vegan: Those who do not eat any meat of any kind, any dairy products, or foods containing animal-derived ingredients.
Raw Vegan: those whose diet consisted of unprocessed vegan foods that have not been heated over 115 degrees.
Macrobiotic: Those who only eat whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.
