GOALS Create an authentic personal brand by exploring my interest in trends and the forces that propel them.
OBJECTIVES Create a blog – The “It” Blog – to be updated regularly, with at least 1 post a week. Increase my presence on Twitter by establishing 50 followers by the end of December. Make 5 comments on other related blogs. Gain relevant volunteer experience.
SWOT Strengths: strong writer, passionate about trends, creative, professional, quick learner Weaknesses: little experience online, not a strong presence online yet Opportunities: develop connections with professionals, access to new audiences, ability to showcase my talents and skills in an interactive format Threats: interests may be too diverse to gather a loyal following, new social media platforms emerge constantly, others may have competing brands
