  • Alzforum has a newly re-designed and re-curated research models database containing information about nearly 100 models relevant to AD research. Data is curated from the published literature and other reliable sources and will be updated as new information becomes available. The hope is this will become an evolving repository of information and a place where researchers can go to share their comments and observations. This is a work in progress and a collaboration with the community. We welcome your feedback, input, and ideas for improvement.
  • There are multipleways of interacting with the database. at the top of the landing page you can search for model by name if you are looking for something in particular . Or you can make selections in the search box. We encourage you to explore the functionality
  • For example, Saido’s NL-F and NL-G-F models. Already they have both been quite well characterized, and you can see at a glance that the model carrying the Arctic mutation has an accelerated phenotype.
  • Can click on the arrow next to the name to expand for more information. Can also click on the colored bars for more info.
