PC only Requires a Windows XP or later AOL- known as AIM, can be used on phones, Ipads, Mac and Windows. Our school uses AOL, but we can see in the futures switching to Google since majority of our accounts are Google. Yahoo Messenger- its is free and user friendly…. can be used with iPhones, Macs, Web and Mobile …… System requirements: Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7.
  • 4. 3. Videoconferencing Skype- it is free, user friendly. Amanda uses Skype to read stories to her niece and nephew at night. It would be nice to Skpye other schools. Google- it can be used through Gmail account, it would be great to video chat with other classes throughout the parish! iChat- We both never heard of iChat, it would not work at our school because we do not have Apple computers
