Increase of 50 million since May 2010. </li></ul><ul><li>Twitter experienced a 62% increase in mobile usage since the release of twitter for iPhone. </li></ul><ul><li>Social apps audience increases. 70 million mobile users accessed a mobile application in April, an increase of 28% from the previous year. </li></ul><ul><li>About 80% of smartphone users accesses social media via their mobile in April. Although smart phone users are driving growth in browser and application access (up~ 111% in each since past year), feature phone users still make up nearly half of all users accessing mobile browsers and apps. </li></ul>

In recent study, nearly half of mobile users took an action when presented with a location-based targeted ad on their mobile. </li></ul>
