Stuffed Red Peppers Presentation Transcript

  • 1. STUFFED RED PEPPERS Pimientos rojos rellenos http://recipespicbypic.blogspot.com
  • 2. STUFFED RED PEPPERS
    • Ingredients for 4 persons :
    • 4 red peppers, 2 onions, 1 garlic clove, 2 big sausages, 200grs. cured ham, olive oil and salt.
    • Fry the ham in a pan with some olive oil.
  • 3. STUFFED RED PEPPERS
    • Add the sausages when the ham changes its colour. After 10 minutes aprox, leave the mixture in a plate.
    • Add some more olive oil in the pan and add the onions.
  • 4. STUFFED RED PEPPERS
    • Add the garlic clove in small pieces and stir for 5 minutes.
    • Add the meat mixture and some salt to it.
  • 5. STUFFED RED PEPPERS
    • After 5 minutes turn off the fire.
    • Cut the peppers the way you see in the picture.
  • 6. STUFFED RED PEPPERS
    • Boil the rice in salty water for 15 minutes. Strain and reserve.
    • Add the rice to the mixture in the pan. Stir for 5 minutes at low fire.
  • 7. STUFFED RED PEPPERS
    • Stuff the peppers.
    • Use the wooden sticks to get the two parts of the peppers together.
    • Put the peppers in an oven tray with some oil.
  • 8. STUFFED RED PEPPERS
    • Have them in the oven for 45 minutes at 210ºC. Change their position every 10 minutes. (turn them around)
    • Have it with some salad and olives.
    • Yummmmy, soooo good!
