Stuffed Red Peppers

  2. 2. STUFFED RED PEPPERS <ul><li>Ingredients for 4 persons : </li></ul><ul><li>4 red peppers, 2 onions, 1 garlic clove, 2 big sausages, 200grs. cured ham, olive oil and salt. </li></ul><ul><li>Fry the ham in a pan with some olive oil. </li></ul>
  3. 3. STUFFED RED PEPPERS <ul><li>Add the sausages when the ham changes its colour. After 10 minutes aprox, leave the mixture in a plate. </li></ul><ul><li>Add some more olive oil in the pan and add the onions. </li></ul>
  4. 4. STUFFED RED PEPPERS <ul><li>Add the garlic clove in small pieces and stir for 5 minutes. </li></ul><ul><li>Add the meat mixture and some salt to it. </li></ul>
  5. 5. STUFFED RED PEPPERS <ul><li>After 5 minutes turn off the fire. </li></ul><ul><li>Cut the peppers the way you see in the picture. </li></ul>
  6. 6. STUFFED RED PEPPERS <ul><li>Boil the rice in salty water for 15 minutes. Strain and reserve. </li></ul><ul><li>Add the rice to the mixture in the pan. Stir for 5 minutes at low fire. </li></ul>
  7. 7. STUFFED RED PEPPERS <ul><li>Stuff the peppers. </li></ul><ul><li>Use the wooden sticks to get the two parts of the peppers together. </li></ul><ul><li>Put the peppers in an oven tray with some oil. </li></ul>
  8. 8. STUFFED RED PEPPERS <ul><li>Have them in the oven for 45 minutes at 210ºC. Change their position every 10 minutes. (turn them around) </li></ul><ul><li>Have it with some salad and olives. </li></ul><ul><li>Yummmmy, soooo good! </li></ul>
