  5. 5. ONE OF THE MOST DESTRUCTIVE HURRICANES IN U.S HISTORY WAS HURRICANE KATRINA IN 2005
  6. 6. FLOOD – IS A LARGE AMOUNT OF WATER THAT COVERS AN AREA WHICH IS USUALLY DRY
  7. 7. LAST YEAR THERE WAS THE BIGGEST FLOOD IN THE FAR EAST OF OUR COUNTRY. IT LASTED FOUR MONTHS.

  10. 10. TYPHOON – IS A KIND OF TROPICAL CYCLONE WHICH IS TYPICAL FOR THE NORTH-WEST PACIFIC
  11. 11. TYPHOON HAIYAN IS ONE OF THE MOST DEVASTATING TYPHOONS OF THE RECENT PERIOD. IT CLAIMED THE LIVES OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE
  12. 12. EARTHQUAKE – IS A SHAKING OF GROUND. IT IS ONE OF THE MOST DEVASTATING DISASTERS
  13. 13. ONE OF THE LARGEST EARTHQUAKES IN OUR COUNTRY WAS ON 25 MAY IN 1995 ON SAKHALIN ISLAND.
  14. 14. TORNADO – IS A VIOLENT WIND STORM WHICH CONSISTS OF A TALL COLUMN OF AIR SPINNING AROUND VERY FAST
  15. 15. EVERY YEAR PEOPLE IN THE NORTH AMERICA SUFFER FROM VARIOUS TORNADOES IN SPRING AND SUMMER
  16. 16. AVALANCHE- IS A LARGE MASS OF SNOW FALLING DOWN THE SIDE OF A MOUNTAIN
  17. 17. AVALANCHES ARE DANGEROUS FOR SKIERS AND CLIMBERS
