Climate <ul><li>temperate rainforests only cover 75 million acres of earth </li></ul><ul><li>The forest is always wet and there is water dripping from the tree branches </li></ul><ul><li>Conifers make a canopy in the forest which keeps the forest shady and cool </li></ul><ul><li>The forest floor is usually covered with ferns </li></ul><ul><li>Lush and wet </li></ul><ul><li>Gets at least 100 inches of rain per year </li></ul>
