Discussion!• All the conferences analyzed generated a low R:E Ratio suggesting that the same contributors were tweeting multiple times; thus, information was not spreading far beyond their followers. ! !• If Conference organizers are aiming for a larger and more diverse audience, then they will need to think of ways to take advantage of social networking tools to reach out to a wider listeners and, in the process, help disseminate relevant and useful information.
