NAQSH is a platform for Design Practitioners, Students & Academics to engage and interact within themselves and with professionals from all other Disciplines. Our 4 point agenda is Community Building, Sustainable Design, Cultural Exchange & Design Entrepreneurship.

We aim to turn this negativestereotype into something examplary. Thetheme chosen for this revamp is yellow, as thecolour for Children is yellow. It’s an open for allproject.
  • 15. THE FIRST NAQSH DESIGN CONFERENCE COMMUNITY BUILDING13th June 2012:• City SpeakThis will be located on two different parks.Bagh Ibne Qasim at Seaview and Askari Park atGulshan. Each park will have a Skylightprojector with a computer terminal connectedto it. The users will be able to write theirmessages onto the projection, enabling bothParticipants to communicate.

THE FIRST NAQSH DESIGN CONFERENCE SUSTAINABLE DESIGN05th June 2012:• REDesign:Research based design, designers will bepaired up with social researchers and will besent to Machar Colony to come up withsustainable solutions for the colonysinhabitants and will present their solutions atthe convention.
  • 17. THE FIRST NAQSH DESIGN CONFERENCE SUSTAINABLE DESIGN07th June 2012:• Sustinable GazeboThe project will be to construct a Gazebo madeout of Sustainable material under theSupervision of trained Designers and architectswith Public participation.
  • 18. THE FIRST NAQSH DESIGN CONFERENCE CULTURAL EXCHANGE21st June 2012:• CaligraffitiGraffiti artists from New York, London & Berlinwill team up with local Calligraphers, CinemaPainters and wall Painters to produce acombined work of art on a wall at AbdullahHaroon, Saddar.
