  1. 1. Meaningful Goals <ul><li>Attainable/Realistic - Is this a goal you can and should work on this year? </li></ul><ul><li>Timely (within a set time)- by next check in </li></ul><ul><li>Meaningful/ Enriching “Why do you want this goal? What is the deeper meaning?” </li></ul>

Timeline: <ul><li>Discuss and understand how to set meaningful goals. </li></ul><ul><li>Brainstorm goals for each subject area. </li></ul><ul><li>Review your goals and create one to three overarching goals that you can apply to most subjects. </li></ul><ul><li>Reflect on progress throughout the year. </li></ul>

(This is a measurement) </li></ul><ul><li>This goal does not focus on learning, it focuses on assessment and assessments are a way for us to check in our goals, not an actual goal. </li></ul><ul><li>Setting M eaningful goals means thinking about what the real learning you want to attain is and how you know you have attained it. </li></ul><ul><li>I will improve my study habits so that I understand material better and this will show in my assignments and test. (This is a goal) </li></ul>
