  1. Box & Whisker Plot A graph that displays thehighest and lowest quarters of data as a whisker, themiddle two quarters of data as a box.
  2. CensusA count of the population
  3. HistogramA bar graph that shows the frequency of data within equal intervals
  4. Interquartile Range The difference between theupper and lower quartile in a box & whisker plot
  5. Line Plot A number line withmarks or dots that show frequency
  6. MeanAverage; the sum of items in a set of data divided by the number of items in the set
  7. MedianThe middle number, or themean (average) of the two middle numbers, in an ordered set of data
  8. ModeThe number or numbers that occur most frequently in a set of data.
  9. Outlier A value much greater ormuch less than the others in a data set

  11. QuartileThree values, one of which isthe median, that divide a setof data into four equal parts
