  • 2. Television (TV) is a telecommunication medium for transmittingTV and receiving moving images that can be monochrome (black-and- white) or colored, with or without accompanying sound. The two basic TV formats used are digital and analog.
  • 3. HW DOES ANANALOGTELEVISIONWORK?An analog televisionworks by transferringelectromagneticwaves into sound andlight energy.
  • 4. WHAT ARE ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES?Electromagnetic radiation (EMR) is a form ofenergy emitted and absorbed by chargedparticles, which shows wave-like behavior as it travelsthrough space.
  • 5. Each type of televisionreceives a signal (EMR)from a source (digital oranalog), and convertsthat code into thepicture displayed on thescreen. How that digitalor analog code isconverted is complexand varies widely witheach type of television. TRANSPARENT tv
