These highlycoveted awards are judged on the work put in by each of the 19 hotel teams over the past twelve months andare determined by feedback from the questionnaires received from Alfa guests covering areas such as foodquality, housekeeping and entertainment. We think that this makes them all the more special for the winninghotels and with the high response rate of 96% of questionnaires being completed and returned, we believe ourguests like to be involved in ensuring we provide the best holiday experience.1st PlaceGeneral Manager - Hamid KhoshneviszadehHotel – The George IV HotelHamid celebrated his second successive win as Leisureplex Hotel Manager of the Year. Hamid is equally wellknown for his dry wit and humorous nature as he is for his rigorous, impeccable hotel standards. Hamid boastsan outstanding record of achievement with a career dedicated to excellence in the hospitality industry.The George IV is a relative new acquisition to the Leisureplex portfolio and Hamid and his team have workedhard to instil Leisureplex service standards into the Grade II listed hotel. Indeed, Hamid has overcomeconsiderable operational difficulties to win the award for 2010 as the George IV underwent majorrefurbishment work. In particular, work to restore the impressive stained glass windows and original leadedlights took far longer than expected to complete. Hamid proved himself a most worthy winner by retainingguest satisfaction levels- despite the disruption of the restoration work.
