Catalytic Depolymerisation - ( KDV ) Catalytic Depolymerization - Katalytische Drucklose Verölung - Waste to Diesel Fuel - Presentation Transcript

    1.
    2. FUEL - IN HARMONY WITH THE ENVIRONMENT. Key technology, climate protection and clean energy. CATALYTIC DEPOLYMERISATION FORM ORGANICS TO OIL
    3.
    4. ENERGY IS THE ENGINE OF MANKIND. - Movement means life!
      • Assurance of energy supplies - challenge for the future
      • Problem of increasing energy costs
      • Crude oil - a resource running short soon
      • In less than 50 years there will hardly be any crude oil
      • Emerging markets like India or China reinforce this development
      PEAK OF OIL
    5. Carbon dioxide - a threatening development. cars, planes, waste combustion, industial plants, power stations, etc. The emission of carbon dioxide. green house effect global warming climatic catastrophe Example: In the following years China´s motorization will rise from 20 million vehicles to about 140 million vehicles. CARBON DIOXIDE - CONCENTRATION (PPMV) Industial Revolution caused a dramatic rise of carbon dioxide concentration. CLIMATE CHANGE
      • Causes of the increasing demand of energy in the world:
      • Accelerating globalization
      • Cheap but power-consuming communication
      • Upcoming developing countries adjust their standard of living
      • Increasing demand of energy from about 50% predicted for the year 2030.
      DEMAND OF ENERGY

IN COMPARISON: World energy consumption 2005 Black coal 16.300 Mio. tons Gas 12.600 Mrd. m 3 Oil 11.400 Mio. tons Quelle: Bundesanstalt für Geowissenschaften und Rohstoffe IN 40 YEARS IT WILL COME TO AN END!
    7. ENERGETIC FUTURE
      • Uwe Lahl - assistant secretary of state in the Federal Environment Ministry:
      • What source of energy will set in motion our vehicles in the future?
      • The future energy has to be renewable , but also storable.
      • The most efficient and technically available way of storing and transporting energy are chemical bonds , that is hydrocarbon , oils, ethanol, methane.
      • These materials will have to be the energetic and substantial backbone of today´s society.
    8. SOILUTIONS - THE SOLUTION
      • EVEN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT KNOWS:
      • Biomass to Liquid (BtL) - is one of the most attracttive options in fuel sectoreine
      • High biomass and great dimensional exploitation (up to 4.000 litres per hectare)
      • Huge decline of carbon dioxide over 90%
      • Very high quality - no limit in application
      • BtL-Fuels - Exempted from tax till 2015
    9. THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INDEPENDENT POWER SUPPLY INDUSTRY.
    10. THE SOILUTIONS PLAN Self-supporting financing - widely independent from institutions and lobbies - the perfect way for an autarkic power supply industry. This path is already set/ predicted. Power, heat and fuel from renewable energies 1998 - 2007
    11. This combination means an innovation in the energy producing market. RENEWABLE RESOURCES RAPE PLANTS, HAY, STRAW, LOGGING REMAINS, WOODEN PELLETS BIOMASS WASTE ACCORDING TO THE BIO-WASTE REGULATION AS IN §2, NO. 1 BabfV GARDEN AND PARK RUBBISH, KITCHEN WASTE, BIO-WASTE HEAT ENERGY ELECTRICAL ENERGY DIESEL OIL
    12. „ Catalytic, pressure-less oiling “ INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY AND SOLUTION OF THE OIL PROBLEM
    13. THE PROCEDURE „ Catalytic, pressure-less oiling “ INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY
      • Technical reproduction of the natural oil formation
      • Mineral diesel oil from hydrocarbon compounds of high calorific value
      • Transformation temperature clearly under 400 degrees, no toxic dioxans and furans
      • Use of a special ionic- swapping, crystalline catalysators
      • Mixing of convection and diffusion from specially developed high- tech reactors
    14. THE PROCEDURE The catalytic oiling is a copy of the chemical and physical processes of evolution of our planet and the emerging energy sources. 300 million years of Evolution shortened to 3 minutes.
    15. INPUT FLEXIBILITY
      • THE SYSTEM CAN CONVERT:
      • RENEWABLE RESOURCES
      • Straw, Wood, Energy crop
    16. INPUT FLEXIBILITY
      • THE SYSTEM CAN CONVERT:
      • RENEWABLE RESOURCES
      • Straw, Wood, Energy crop
      • OTHER RESOURCES
      • Plastics, Waste oil, Animal waste
    17. INPUT FLEXIBILITY
      • THE SYSTEM CAN CONVERT:
      • RENEWABLE RESOURCES
      • Straw, Wood, Energy crop
      • OTHER RESOURCES
      • Plastics, Waste oil, Animal waste
      • EVERY OTHER FORM OF
      • Organic and mineral hydrocarbon resources
      • Domestic waste
    18. OUR RESOURCES
      • BIOMASS
      • RENEWABLE RESOURCES
      • Rape plants, hay, straw, logging remains, wooden pellets
      • WASTES
      • according to the bio-waste regulation as in §2, no. 1 BwR
      • Garden and park rubbish, kitchen waste, bio-waste
      • to the exclusion of food and feeding stuff.
MORE THAN JUST A DEVICE FOR MAXIMUM SECURITY OF INVESTMENT.
    19. FLOW CHART OF A BTL-PLANT The primary product is induced, the catalyser splits the molecular chains, diesel oil arises. primary product The diesel oil vaporises. The diesel steam is cooled down, water and diesel oil occur. Catalyser and carrier oil are pumped in the circulation. output of distillation distillation column turbine application of energy 200 kw line to distillation catalyser entry pump 1 pump 2 pumping capacity 2x 20 kw liquid circulation reaction container oil container maximum temperature alternative liquid entry gaseouse (diesel steam)

      • THE FINAL PRODUCT
      • Synthetic fuel oil or diesel oil of high quality.
      • The produced light-fuel-oil is not a phytogenic oil nor a on the same basis produced biodiesel. It is a mineral biodiesel of highest quality.
      • Octane number (cetane number) of normal diesel 52 of the brand new „superdiesel“ 56 of the SOILUTIONS - products over 60
      • SOILUTIONS fuel doesn´t need any admission from car or engine producers as it fulfills the conditions of the EN-Norm 590 .
      • With the use of biomass there is no petroleum tax till 2015 .
    25. KEY FIGURES TO THE FINAL PRODUCT
      • WE PRODUCE…
      • About 60 million litres of synthetical fuel
      • About 87.600 megawatt-hours power yearly
      • About 44.000 megawatt-hours heat energy yearly
      • Among the processing of about 130 thousand tons of biomass yearly
      • The efficiency is about 90%
