  • 2. What the buzz is Google Buzz.
    • Google says : “Start conversations about the things you find interesting. Share updates, photos, videos and more with your friends.”
    • Ok, this is cool, but What is Google Buzz ?
    • Googling GBuzz this is what you will find out:
    • It’s a Twitter clone
    • something similar to Facebook but faster.
    • a mess
    • a revolution
    • a new way of communication
    • a new feature of Gmail
    • a new feature of your phone
    • A thing where everyone is talking about everything … a mess.
    • And so on..
  • 3. What is Google Buzz.
    • Defining Google Buzz is hard and maybe useless but everyone is asking me about this. So..
    • Google Buzz is a social networking platform, fully integrated in Gmail.
  • 4. Where is Google Buzz?
    • Google Buzz is on the left panel of your Gmail account.
  • 5. Feature 1 : Tell&Read.
    • This is your Buzzing interface
  • 6. Writing
    • Google Buzz has few writing features that you have to know to create the best post ever.
    This is the output :
  • 7. Posting
    • You can post your Buzz to everyone or just for your friends or co-workers, using the same groups of gmail contacts.
    • Use your Gmail Groups is easy :
    Step 1: Click contacts on the left sidebar Step 2: Click the second button on the contacts tab
  • 8. Sending your first private Buzz
  • 9. Embedded Intelligence This is what your Buzz will look like.
  • 10. Connect your Buzzy life
    • You can connect Google Buzz to a blog to twitter or Picasa and others.
    • Just Click on the top “connected sites”.
  • 11. Import Your contact to Buzz from Twitter

    • Warning : This is very slow…
  • 12. Refine your search
    • author:<name> finds all the messages written by a specific user
    • commenter: <name> finds all the comments from a specific person.
    • Source:Flickr (Twitter etc.) searches Buzz imported from twitter, Flickr etc.
    • -source:Twitter The service specified is out from results.
  • 13. Cool ShortCuts!
    • Enable your gmail shortcuts
    Click on Settings Enable shortcut
  • 14. Cool ShortCuts in Google Buzz!
    • Now you can use a lot of keyboard shortcuts to manage Google Buzz.
    • Gb (fast sequence) : open Google Buzz.
    • Shift+l : like a message
    • r : reply to a message
    • p / n : previous or next buzz
    • o : expand buzzes
    • m : mute a buzz
  • 15. Update by Mail
    • Send a message to [email_address] from your gmail account to post a new buzz.
      • Image attachment works fine!
