  • 2. Stratford-upon-Avon is a market town in south Warwickshire, in England. It lies on the River Avon.
  • 3. Stratford-upon-Avon is located in the Midlands in the county of Warwickshire. Travelling to Stratford-upon-Avon can be:

    • 4. by rail (Stratford-upon-Avon station is in the centre of town);
    • 5. by coach;

The Bard's birthday celebrations begin with a parade to the Holy Trinity Church where representatives from all over the world lay flowers at Shakespeare's grave.
