  • 3. Shakespeare's father Shakespeare's father Shakespeare's mother John was a a glove-maker and then became a Mayor. Mary was the daughter of a farmer. John and Mary had 7 children but 3 died young.
  • 4. Shakespeare's sons The Playwriter He was born and died the same day: 23 th April. He studied Latin at a Grammar School, in this way he was influenced by plays and poemes of Latin writers. Shakespeare's wife She was the daughter of a local farmer. She married William when she was 26 and he was 18, because she was pregnant. They had 3 children.
  • 5. Shakespeare's father Shakespeare's wife Shakespeare's son He was Judith's twin. He died in 1596 when he was 11 years old. Shakespeare's daughter She was William's first daughter. She was baptized on 26 th May 1583. She married John Hall. He was a physician. Their daughter was Elizabeth. Shakespeare's daughter She was Hamnet's twin, the youngest daughter of William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway. She married Thomas Quiney, a vintner from Stratford-upon-Avon; they had 3 children: Shakespeare, Richard and Thomas.
  • 6. Shakespeare's grand-daughter She married first Thomas Nash in 1626 and then John Bernard in 1649. With her death Shakespeare's family line came to an end.
