  • GETTING INVOLVED  Room Parent Coordinators Mrs. Christina Lee (Preschool-1st grade) and Mrs. Wendy Zakas (grades 2- 8) Email if you are interested in getting some more information or if you know you’d like to serve as a room parent!  We love volunteers! Please check with your child’s classroom teacher to see how you can help! To assist with the fall Auction, email Gigi Dorotta ( or Lisa Brandl (lisabrandl4@gmail) or see them at the table outside and they can get you plugged into a committee.

  • DRIVING ON CAMPUS  When driving on campus, always remember…  Drive slowly (10 mph speed limit)  Watch for pedestrians  No cell phones/texting/distractions  Keep carline moving  If you need to stop to have a conversation, please park your car in an available parking space.
  • ARRIVAL YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO US!  Pre-School parents park, walk their students to class, and sign in the drop-off/pick-up book. Failure to sign your child in (and out) in preschool will result in a $25 charge.  Kindergarten parents park and walk their students to class.  Grades 1-8: Starting at 7:30 a.m., enter on Hermosa Avenue at the Hidden Oaks driveway.  Grades 1-8: If your child arrives more than 15 minutes before his/her scheduled class time, you are required to walk them to day care and sign them in. Otherwise, drop them off at carline in the upper parking lot.  1st-8th grade: Drop off only in the authorized area!

  • DISMISSAL  Follow the same procedures as arrival for carline.  Students in grades 1-8 will wait in the upper lot for pick-up; pre-school and kindergarten students must be picked up at the classroom. Preschool students must be signed out. Preschool students not on the extended day schedule must be picked up by 2:15, and kindergarten dismissal is from 2:30-2:45.  Carline Pick-up Times  1st -3rd: 2:30-2:45 p.m.  4th-8th: 2:45-3:00 p.m.
  • RAINY DAY ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL PROCEDURES Arrival  4th-8th students will be sent to their classroom starting at 7:45 a.m.  3rd grade and younger students will go to their classroom after 8:00 a.m. Dismissal  If it is raining or excessively hot, we follow rainy day procedures.  Park and pick up your child at the classroom or wait for instructions.  Extra parking will be available in the upper lot.
  • GATES AND FENCE ACCESS Open between:  7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m.  2:15 p.m.-4:30 p.m.  Please park only in the lower parking lot for after school activities pick up after 3:00. All Other Times:  Use the entry pad at the front gate to call the school office.  School Office 909-989- 2804  Daycare Office 909-944- 5969
  • DRESS CODE  ALCS wears uniforms from Nunes, available on-line. Used uniforms available in the school office.  All shirts must have the ALCS logo (old or new logo)  Other clothing items may be purchased from Nunes or other retail stores.  Jackets and sweatshirts may be navy blue, black, grey, or white. Please put your child’s name on the tag!  Read through the dress code in the parent handbook on our website,  There is a $25 charge for every third dress code violation.
  • SCRIP  Available each week for purchase in the office. Orders are entered on Monday and pick up is Friday.  Scrip benefits our school in great ways! This is part of our budgeted income and supports school operations.  Forms are in the office and on our website; check out our lengthy list of participating stores.
  • PARENT PRAYER TEAM  Tuesdays at 8:20 a.m. in the Bride’s Room which is to the left of the Sanctuary  This is for all parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. Everyone is welcome to come pray for our staff, students, families, and school.  Submit prayer requests to the office (with a name or anonymously). We DO pray for each one!
  • MATTHEW 18 PRINCIPLE  Please read the detailed explanation in the parent handbook.  The focus is always on solving our problems TOGETHER!  Handle conflict in just a few steps…  Meet with the person alone  If you can’t solve it together, meet with one or two other people.  If you still can’t resolve the issue, bring it to the leadership team.
  • CHAPEL  All School Chapel (usually the first Wednesday of every month) – 8:20-9:15 a.m.  PK-3rd Chapel – 8:20-8:50 a.m.  4th-8th Chapel – 9:30-10:10 a.m.  You are invited to attend all of our chapels! Please be sure to sign in and get a visitor’s badge at the office as usual!
  • STAY INFORMED WITH RENWEB  Set up your account  Username and password issued by Renweb  Teacher lesson plans, homework, calendar  Call us with any questions. We can help you set this up.  School ID ALCS-CA
  • CATERTOTS LUNCHES  Set up your account at  School id ALTA 19  All lunches are pre-ordered.  On-line orders or changes are due by 9:00am one day prior to service and paper orders are due three business days prior to service.  The cost per meal is $4.25 for a Junior Portion and $5.00 for a Regular Portion.
