BpmsurveyGood work lads - everything here resonates with what we are seeing during our travels. It does not cover the question on expenditure and budgets, which we are looking at carefully as it impacts all the major SI’s that we are working with. We do feel that there will be a basic fall in the number of investments made in the higher end products from people like IBM and Oracle, but that the smaller players will hold their own, even if recession falls into depression.
I recognise that the reviewed base was reasonably small, but it looks like they were very relevant. And it is a mute point over budget holder in the context of the smaller BPM and ECM players as they can often get in by creating a project (unbudgeted) rather than having to fine existing budgeted opportunities.
Our clients are the ones who are mainly under threat from the small vendors, which is giving us a great ride as we expand further and further as they try to drive for new engagements where they can win under lower costs (so margins are protected).
Ultimately, the best technologies to buy tend to be the ones that are just about to be picked up by a major player - so you get all the inventiveness of a startup with all the muscle of a F500 player.

Bpm Toolsgood stuff, but all of these are very technical products and comletely at odds with business process discovery at the business user end. proForma’s product is possibly the easiest to use, but even that takes a minimum of four days just to be a basic user (for a new graduate to learn). Have a look at www.ProcessMaster.com - a tool that anyone can use and learn off a video in 20 mins.3 years ago

Meet Bertie AhernTo be fair, he does rather well, especially on the pension side. The real bit that I have an issue with is the 300,000,000.00 euro that is being spent on a tribunal to uncover if he did or did not take a 30,000 sterling bribe in 1994 when he was a Lord Mayor............ especially as I have to fork out about 30,000 euros a year to educate and look after my five year old son (he is autistic) as the state does not provide for him.3 years ago
