  2. 2. My Letter:Dear Tai-san,How are you? Is your new school okay? It was sad to see you leaveTomoe when you were in second grade. Anyway, have you heardabout WW2?Due to the war my nation caused because of greed, we barely havefood! It is so scarce! And we are constantly living in fear ofbombings. Do you still remember the lunchtime rule for bringing‘something from the hills and something from the ocean’ rule?Because of the rationing of foodstuff, me and my parents find it hardto satisfy the rule. And sadly, did you know they dropped Englishfrom the curriculum because America was our enemy?Recently, I discovered that the Japanese Government is full ofpropaganda. They are trying to convince us that Japanese are the onesto pity and not the Allies, even though we were the one who wagedwar against them. I am hoping to hear from you soon.Yours,Totto-chan
