Virus is not a cell. Virus are non-living things basicallybecause it does not have the things required to be a cell,as they do not even have the common cell parts-likenucleus and cytoplasm. A virus is not even considered anorganism. And unlike cells that can go through mitosis –a type of cell division that results in two daughter cells ,each the same as a parent cell.
What Does a VirusLook Like?A virus has manydifferent shapes andsizes. Some look likea hairy ball, whileothers look like longporcupines. Thepicture on top is aH1N1 virus while theone below is a AIDSvirus. Notice theirunique shape.
A virus does not, I repeat does not qualify as a cell.
