  1. 2. <ul><li>The continent of Asia stretches from Japan in the East through Russia in the West and everything in between. </li></ul><ul><li>Because this region is so vast and includes countries such as China and India, Asia is the home to over 60% of the world’s population. </li></ul><ul><li>Asia is home to three of the top four biggest economies of the world-China, Japan and India are numbers 2-4, with the U.S. still in the number 1 spot. </li></ul>
  2. 3. <ul><li>While there are many religions represented in Asia, Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam are the most represented </li></ul><ul><li>Asia is home to the highest (Mt. Everest) and lowest (the Dead Sea) points on earth. </li></ul><ul><li>Asia is considered the place where human civilization originated </li></ul>
