What is Water Pollution?any physical (temperature, oxygen),chemical (mercury), or biological(disease, sewage) change to water thatadversely effects its use by living things .
Types of Water Pollution •• Physical poll. •• Chemical poll. •• Biological poll.• Radiation poll. •• Surface water poll. •• Underground water poll. •
Eutrophication, is the addition of artificial or naturalsubstances, such as nitrates and phosphates, throughfertilizers or sewage, to an aquatic system. In otherterms, it is the "bloom" or great increase of phytoplanktonin a water body. Negative environmental effects includehypoxia, the depletion of oxygen in the water, whichinduces reductions in specific fish and other animalpopulations. Other species (such as Nomurai Jellyfish inJapanese waters) may experience an increase in populationthat negatively affects other species.
Eutrophication is apparent as increasedturbidity in the northern part of the Caspian Sea.
