  • Nik started our series last week with superheroesHe asked the question:Do you see yourself as the main character on the stage in a play about the story of your life?Or, to put it another way, are you a bit part player in God’s big story of Creation, Fall, Redemption and Glorification?In this series we are again looking at what it means to love God, to follow Jesus and to put him first in every area of life.The reason for doing this is so we can better glorify God, which is ultimately our purpose in life.And it is in glorifying God, that we find the path to experiencing the joy of the Lord … which is something Jesus promised to anyone who follows him.Or, as John Piper put it, God is most gloried in us when we are most satisfied in him.
