  3. 3. Dropbox is a softwarethat syncs files online into your PC
  4. 4. Whenever you upload files online…
  5. 5. ..it will automaticallydownloaded into your PC
  6. 6. Openhttp://www.dropbox.com
  7. 7. Click “Download Dropbox”
  8. 8. Just follow the installation instructions
  9. 9. When you reach this window, choose “I don’t have a Dropbox account”
  10. 10. Fill out needed information
  11. 11. Click “Next”
  12. 12. Choose 2 GB then click “Next”
  13. 13. Choose Typical then click “Install”
  14. 14. Click “Next”
  15. 15. Click “Finish”
  16. 16. Now let’s upload a file to your dropbox
  17. 17. Open againhttp://www.dropbox.com
  18. 18. Click “Log In”
  19. 19. Enter your Email and Password
  20. 20. Click “upload”
  21. 21. Click “Choose files”.
  22. 22. Select file you want to upload, Click “Open”
  23. 23. Click “Start upload”
  24. 24. Your local PC dropbox will also be updated
  25. 25. So whatever youuploaded on your online dropbox…
  26. 26. …you can find them inyour local dropbox folder
  27. 27. In vice versa, if you update your local dropbox..
  28. 28. …your online dropbox will be updated too.
  29. 29. Now let’s try the other way around.
  30. 30. Updating your dropboxthrough your local PC.
  31. 31. Locate the dropbox folder in your PC
  32. 32. In this example, it is located in the drive C.
  33. 33. Open dropbox
  34. 34. For example we need totransfer the file “SAMPLEDOCUMENT” to dropbox
  35. 35. You may drag/drop or copy/pastes the file to your dropbox folder
  36. 36. There you have it.
  37. 37. You may also share your files to others.
  38. 38. For instance you want to share “Sample Folder” to others.
  39. 39. Move the mouse over the folder you want to share.
  40. 40. Click on the triangle.
  41. 41. Select “Shared folder options”.
  42. 42. Enter email addresses of whom you want to share the folder.
  43. 43. You may also add a short message for them.
  44. 44. Click on “Share folder”.
  45. 45. An invitation email will be sent to the recipients…
  46. 46. …and gives them a link to accept your invite
  47. 47. Once they accept yourinvitation, the folder willappear in their Dropbox account
  48. 48. they must have adropbox account too...
  49. 49. …for them to access what you are sharing.
  50. 50. Deleted items can be recovered
  51. 51. Yes, you can!
  52. 52. Click “Show deleted files”
  53. 53. Select the document you want to recover
  54. 54. Right click then click “Undelete”
  55. 55. Then your file will be restored
