An exporter may avail financial assistance from any bank provided following two requirements are satisfied: </li></ul><ul><li>Timely availability of credit </li></ul><ul><li>Cost of the funds should be affordable </li></ul>

STAGES OF EXPORT FINANCE <ul><li>Pre-shipment Finance </li></ul><ul><li>Financial assistance extended for execution of an export order from the date of receipt of an export order till the date of shipment. </li></ul><ul><li>Post-shipment Finance </li></ul><ul><li>Financial assistance from the date of shipment to the date of realisation. </li></ul>

Export of Services <ul><li>Pre-shipment and post-shipment finance may be provided to exporters of all the 161 tradable services covered under the General Agreement on trade in Services where payment for such services is received in free foreign exchange as stated at Chapter 3 of FTP 2009 - 14 </li></ul><ul><li>All provisions of this circular shall apply mutatis mutandis to export of services as they apply to export of goods unless otherwise specified. </li></ul>
