Respondents from varying types of companies • 474 respondents • Most of the respondents from small companies, 1–10 employees • Companies of all sizes • Branch of businesses: • Industry • Whole and retail sales • ICT and communication • Education • Other services sectors • Total 68 % of respondents
  • 3. Added value noticed
  • 4. Jokers: Few respondents in survey, but interesting results.
  • 5. Use of SoMe noticed • Facebook and personal network in LinkedIn in use • Smaller companies are more active • Added value can be noticed even slightly in nearly all companies • Industry has the biggest future expectations unless they use it least • From plans to practice? • What about employer image?
  • 6. Employer image won’t be developed…
  • 7. SoMe is more allowed to use if it has a role in recruiting. SoMe is allowed to use at work…
  • 8. …but not for company’s benefit? More targets set if SoMe has a role in recruiting.
  • 9. Change from plans to practice in key role • SoMe has been used as recruiting channel in some companies and several companies have positive future plans for it Job ads could be spreaded widely in SoMe in addition to personal network • Employer image has not been developed as a general rule although the best advocats, employees, spend their working hours there.
