2. OVERVIEW
Frenchy’s has proven to be a very successful
restaurant in the Clearwater Beach area; however, it
is important for every business to find opportunities
to become more efficient. The communication
between management and employees at Frenchy’s
could be much more efficient. At times it can be
difficult or time consuming for managers to
communicate with employees. This proposal is an
attempt to streamline the communication system.
3. THE OPPORTUNITY
• More efficient ways to write schedules
• Finding better ways for management and employees to communicate
• Utilizing systems to allow employees to switch and pick-up shifts from home
• Minimizing the amount of overtime hours worked
• Allowing employees access to view their schedule from home
4. Audience Analysis
This proposal will be presented to the management staff and corporate offices
of Frenchy’s.
Audience Needs and Concerns:
• Handwriting schedules is very time consuming and difficult
• Calling employees one at a time to cover shifts is inefficient
• Picking up and switching shifts requires employees to be at the restaurant
• Ensuring that employees don’t work overtime can be difficult when they pick-up shifts
• Employees are required to go into the restaurant to view their schedule
5. WHO WILL THIS AFFECT?
1. The Corporate Executives
2. Management Staff
3. Employees
4. Customers
