Biotechnology A.S. in Biology
The application of biotechnology in the healthcare industry ranges from drug development and treatment, as well as forensics, environmental protection, preservation, and cleaning.
Health Education & Promotion A.S. in Community Health
Graduates prepare to design, deliver, or direct health promotion and education programs.
They work as Health Educators, Health Promotion Directors, Patient Advocates, and more, in government and community health agencies, hospitals, schools, and corporate wellness programs.
Health Administration A.S. in Community Health
Health Administrators or Health Service Managers work in hospitals, clinics, physician’s offices, or nursing care facilities.
They plan, direct, and supervise the delivery of healthcare and establish and implement policies and objectives, evaluate personnel, develop reports and budgets, and much more.
Exercise Science/Personal Training A.S.
Students are prepared for the examination to become an ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist, which qualifies them to work in the finest health clubs and corporate fitness centers, or as entrepreneurs operating their own fitness business.
Food & Hospitality A.A.S.
Positions include dietetic technicians, cooks, food service managers, dining room managers, sanitarians, and event planners in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other residences such as those for people with disabilities
Medical Office Administration A.A.S. in Office Administration & Technology
Students are trained in keyboarding and software skills as well as medical terminology, medical forms, medical billing, and coding.
Students would be able to attain employment in a physician’s offices, clinics, public or private hospitals, nursing homes, or community health centers.
Mental Health & Human Services A.S.
Our degree provides the foundation for further education in programs such as social work, psychology, and other counseling professions.
Graduates can pursue careers within the human service field such as intake workers, residential counselors, or assistant counselors in social service agencies.
Nursing A.A.S.
Graduates of the KCC Nursing Program who pass the NCLEX-RN examination can seek employment as a registered nurse in hospitals, long term care facilities, schools, home care, or community settings.
The license to practice enables you to obtain a position working in such areas as medicine, surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry, and maternity.
Nutrition A.S. in Biology
The program provides students with the foundation for further education in Bachelor Degree programs.
Nutrition degrees equip students to be nutritionists, dieticians, and nutrition researchers.
These professionals plan nutrition programs and conduct nutrition research. They help to prevent illness and treat illnesses by promoting healthy eating habits.
Occupational Therapy A.S. in Biology
This program serves as the first step for future entrance into a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
Occupational therapists help people improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments.

Physical Education Teacher A.A.S.
Graduates may work as exercise leaders in fitness centers, community centers, or as coaches, officials, or counselors in summer camps.
The can also work with special populations such as the disabled or senior citizens.
Education at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level will allow graduates to become certified teachers for work in public or private schools.
Physical Therapist Assistant A.A.S.
A physical therapist assistant (P.T.A.) works under the supervision of a physical therapist.
They administer treatments, ambulation training, and therapeutic exercises.
This program is nationally accredited meaning that graduates are eligible for licensure anywhere in the United States.
Physician Assistant A.S. in Biology
Students are supplied with the a strong foundation enabling them for transfer to a senior college.
Physician Assistants are formally trained to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative health care services, as delegated by a physician.
They take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret lab tests and x-rays, and make diagnoses.
Speech Pathology/Hearing Sciences A.S. in Speech Communications
