Dear Katerina, thank you so much for your kind words about my PPT ’Sorry’. Here, your red slides are vibrant, colourful and full of power. Great show. The song adds a great armosphere too, like Francisco explains. Being from Belgium, I have seen Jacques Brel several times, even when he started his career. KATERINA: you touched my heart with this presentation ! The song which goes with the images, 'if you go away ' is based upon a french song 'ne me quitte pas ' written by JACQUES BREL and performed by very famous singers all over the world, even FRANK SINATRA.
ROD Mc KUEN wrote this english version, performed brilliantly by SHIRLEY BASSEY here in tnis power point.
This song has usually been seen as the best love song of all time.Yes,it’s heartbreaking and my own heart aches whenever I listen to this song.
Many say that Mc KUEN’s version lacks the passion of the original and it seems that you don’t agree, so you chose the red color to refuse it.
It’s a very sad song but it has a lot of passion and nobody can deny it. I agree with you.My congratulations, KATERINA ,for this wonderful presentation.
