1. 1. TOPIC 2: WHOLE NUMBERS SITUATION: One scientist is flying a balloon. He can see a helicopter moving towards him. He also observes a ship below the balloon. There is a DSV (Deep Submergence Vehicle) in the same area too. Finally you can find a wrecked ship on the bottom of the picture. QUESTIONNAIRE: 1) How far is the balloon from the helicopter? 2) How many metres are there between the scientist and the rescue team? 3) How (many miles) high is the balloon above sea level? 4) And what about the helicopter? 5) How many miles above sea level does the helicopter fly? 6) How many miles are there from the ship to the seashore? 7) How deep is the wrecked ship? 8) Is it 20 metres below sea level?
