MASSIVE PLANTATIONThe school had identified ecologically barren areas in the surroundingsof the school i.e. school premises (31 hectares), Tipakhol hillocks (43hectares) & adjacent villages. Members of the school activelyparticipated in the plantation held at Tipakhol hillocks,school premises& in O.P. Jindal Hospital & Research Centre.50%of the school is underintensive plantation.

We support reduce, reuse and recycle.• Instead of using own vehicle, out of 4018 students3087 come by bus, 675 by bicycle and 256 by walking.An effective way to conserve energy.Uses of bus for transport by 3087 students

Jindal School alongwith their teachers participate in the campaign to spread the massawareness for conservation of water. The conservation drivefocuses on the judicious and proper utilization of water. Thestudents actively take part and show a high degree of enthusiasm.They go door to door in their vicinity and give important watersaving tips to the residents of adjoining colonies. They spread astrong message among the communities to conserve water.

EFFECTIVE RESOURCEWASTE MANAGEMENT• This programme works in school with an aim to utilize allavailable resources effectively and judiciously.• The students are educated to avoid bringing oily junkfood which is mostly brought in Aluminium foils,plastic/tissue paper.• They are continuously trained to use all water andelectric points judiciously in order to minimize wastage.• Students and other members of the school areencouraged to use means of mass transportation forcommuting to school.
