3. Facebook is a social network created by Mark Zuckerberg and founded by Eduardo Saverin, Chris
Hughes, Dustin Moskovitz and Mark Zuckerberg.
In 2010 Facebook have more of 500 million of members and translations into 70 languages.
In the start, Facebook was only for the Harvard students but then Facebook grow.
In Facebook you can add friends that you have lost the contact with them or add new friends
and exchange photos or messages.
4. Twitter is a free social network based on micro blogging. It is created by Jack Dorsey in 2006.
Twitter have more than 200 million of users and they can send and receive updates by
messages that they can’t exceed 140 characters.
Twitter have lots of applications. Twitter offers other options, like searching friends in other
network or inviting friends by e-mail.
5. It’s a free encyclopedia of the Wikimedia foundation. It has more
than 20 million of articles in 282 languages. The articles are redacted
by volunteers around the world.
Wikipedia was born on January in 2001 by Jimmy Wales and Larry
Sanger.
Wikipedia word come from the union of wiki ( fast in Hawaiian ) and
encyclopedia.
6. It’s a service founded by David Weekly on May in 2005.
It’s a work group tool for schools, enterprises and for personal use.
In the school, the students can create webs in group disputing the
issues that they are studying.
In the enterprises, they can create webs, share files, xats and projects
management.
For personal use, creation of private webs.
7. It’s a publication system created by Pyra Laps in 1999. in 2003
Google buy it.
It’s a service that you can crate blogs , published photos, texts,
videos and opinions.
8. It’s a web where the users can share videos.
YouTube was created by three employers from PayPal and later was
bought for Google.
There are different types of videos: musicals, films, video blogs, television
programs…
It is very easy to use and it use the flash adobe technology.
9. It’s a engine search in Internet. Google sent seachbots that
classified every word related with the word that we
introduced in the bar.
Google is formed by lots of webs and it offers other service
like: Google earth, Google talk, Google product search,
Google desktop search and Google plus +
10. It’s the new social network of Google created on June in 2011.
For use that, the users must have more than 18 years old. It’s an attempt
of Google to compete with Facebook.
Google plus introduce news service like video chats for more than 10
people, possibilities for organize events, etc.
11. Second life was created in 2003 by Linden Labs.
It’s a virtual world where everyone create own avatar, you can build,
buy, sell…. You can play at the same time with other users.
Nowadays there are more than 10 million users in the world.
12. It’s a program that allows create free blogs. Its author is Matt
Mullenweg.
It is used for personal webs and by lots of enterprises.
13. It’s a program for edit photographys. It’s is a form to organize photos, it is
a very fast, easy and complete program.
You can retouch photos and put it in albums.
