  • 2. Geography of Ancient Egypt <ul><li>The Sahara Desert is in the red land which is a dry area. </li></ul><ul><li>The Nile River is in the black land. </li></ul><ul><li>The ancient Egypt revolved around the Nile river and the fertile land along its banks. </li></ul>
  • 3. Jobs and classes of Ancient Egypt <ul><li>The poor people had to build mud bricks for homes and temples . </li></ul><ul><li>Middle class people where pottery makers, and scribes, and farmers. </li></ul><ul><li>High class people where priests, and pharaohs . </li></ul>
  • 4. Writing and Technology <ul><li>The system of writing in Ancient Egypt is hieroglyphics which is written on papyrus. </li></ul><ul><li>They invented fishing poles, flutes, pipes, drum, rattles, and their own languages. </li></ul>
  • 5. Great Leaders of Ancient Egypt <ul><li>They were selected by if your royal or a born pharaohs. </li></ul><ul><li>King Tut was the youngest to die. </li></ul><ul><li>Nefirtiti was the only women Leader of ancient Egypt </li></ul>
  • 6. Religion/Gods <ul><li>The pharaohs worshiped Atum in there temples . </li></ul><ul><li>The poor worshiped Bes in there homes. </li></ul><ul><li>There is over 100 god and goddess in ancient Egypt. </li></ul>
  • 7. Animals and food of ancient Egypt <ul><li>They had pigs, goats, ducks, cows, and geese. </li></ul><ul><li>They grew fig trees, wheat, and barley. </li></ul><ul><li>They had worshiped the cat more than any other animal. </li></ul>
  • 8. Art & Artifacts <ul><li>They made the Pharaohs coffins out of gold and they also had pictures on them. </li></ul><ul><li>They painted their wood with pictures of gods and goddesses. </li></ul><ul><li>They made statues of their gods, goddesses, and rulers. </li></ul>
  • 9. Ancient Egypt crafts & trades <ul><li>The Ancient Egyptians had many trades since they were on the Nile River. </li></ul><ul><li>There trade is very profitable since they had the Nile. </li></ul><ul><li>they had to make their trade boats by hand though. </li></ul>
