Orientation We celebrate the Kartini Day on April 21 every year.On that day we commemorate Kartini’s spirit for women emancipation. She struggled for women, so that they would have the same opportunities as men would, in education, government, and others. Event 1 R.A Kartini was born on April,21,1879 in Jepara, Central Java. Her father was the hed of Japara Regency. She grew up in a strict and moderet family where every woman was only allowed to stay at home as a house wife and take dare of her family.
