The Big Idea – Strengthening Resilience • Duration – 10 years • Scale and depth – USD 500 million for first five years; USD 700 million thereafter • Working together – Consortia building in Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia with iNGOs, government actors, private sector, CBOs • Focus – A resilience framework (“DFID Plus”) • Target – Small holder farmers, agro-pastoralists, pastoralists, ex- pastoralists
