principais aspectos sobre a cultura, tais como: importância econômica;
classificação e características botânicas; cultivares; condições
edafoclimáticas; calagem; nutrição mineral e adubação; condução da
cultura; colheita e classificação comercial; corantes; custo de produção e
receitas práticas com beterraba.

In order to guide agronomists, vegetable growers and students in the
cultivation of table beet (Beta vulgaris L.), are presented the main aspects of
culture, such as economic importance; botanical classification and characteristics;
cultivars; soil and climate conditions; liming; mineral nutrition and fertilization;
cultural management; harvest and trade classification; dyes; production cost and
practical recipes with table beets.
