WebQuests: What are they?
“ an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from from the Web. WebQuests are designed to use the learners’ time well, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to support learners’ thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis, and evaluation.”

Student centered activity
Encourages higher level thinking
Individual and group work
Structured/monitored use of the Internet
Fosters creativity and imagination
Utilizes problem-solving/communication skills
Differentiated
Single Discipline or Interdisciplinary

Cons to Using WebQuests
A lot of preparation time
BUT WELL WORTH IT
The results are PHENOMENAL
