Adam Gartenberg commented on Blogging 301 @guest - You’re going to have a mix - loyal readers who subscribe to your feed and rarely hit your site, and new readers who will come in to your blog itself via Google or links on other sites. On my humble little blog I get around 30-40,000 unique visitors a year (the vast majority of them new to the site), compared to I would guess 400-500 regular subscribers. The links (and template update, etc.) are there for those new visitors, hopefully some of whom will subscribe to you, and will also find value in seeing who you read via your links. 11 months ago
