  • The land of the midnight sun From May to July the sun never completely descends in areas north of the Arctic Circle.
  • TROLLS A troll is the typical souvenir of Norway. The legend says that they are strange creatures taht live in the mountains.
  • Ostbroen Bridge
  • OSLO Oslo is the capital of Norway. It has only a population of 575.000. It is the cultural, scientific, economic and governmental centre of Norway.

  • CITY HALL The Nobel Peace Prize is presented at the annual Prize Award Ceremony in Oslo.
  • Vigeland Sculpture Park Is the largest park in Oslo.
  • Gustav Vigeland Gustav was born on a farm called Vigeland in Mandal, in the south of Norway. He was sent to Oslo where he learned to read and carve wood at a local school. Later he became a very famous sculptor.

  • Stavanger is an importan fishing and food industry.
  • Stavanger has got oil and a very important port.
  • The Pulpit rock It's 600 meters above the sea. It is a flat rock measuring 25m x 25m. There is no railing around it but nobody has yet fallen off.

  • Bergen city is situated among a group of 7 mountains, the same as Rome.
