  2. 2. AsTeRICS Goal• Goal of AsTeRICS project design & evaluate with „primary and secondary users“ an adaptable and scalable system supporting also unconventional peripherals (BCI, vision, etc) for (upper limb) motor impaired interactions AsTeRICS concept ACS (AsTeRICS Configuration Set)

AsTeRICS system main characteristics• flexibilty in setting up a workable and convenient device set for person with disability• adaptive configurations to specific needs evolution in time• basic configurations for standard uses• support several unconventional – sensors – actuators for user interaction• facilitate access to various devices such as PC, cell phones, smart home,…
