  7. 7. HOW TO GET TO BARCELONA FROM BARCELONA AIRPORTThere are two options: 1) Aerobus: this bus service is each 10 minutes more or less. There are different stops; the main ones are Plaça Catalunya (in front of Corte Ingles) and Plaça España. There are two lines; A1 goes to Terminal 1 and A2 goes to Terminal 2. 2) TMB bus: this is the metropolitan bus. It costs 2€ more or less (you can use the same card than in the metro) but takes a long time to get to your destination. This service works until 5am to 00:15 in both terminals. BUS NUMBER 46. *If you arrive at night, you have the night bus. It starts working at 21:50h in Terminal 1 and finishes at 4:50h. The price is the same. 7
  8. 8. HOW TO MOVE IN BARCELONAIf you will be some days in Barcelona, I’ll recommend you to find or buy a map of thecity and decide where do you want to go. It’s a big city so if you have marked all theplaces you would like to visit, you can see the easiest way to go there and the best orderto visit them.If you like walking, you can visit a lot of places using just a few times metro, if not, look for the names and lines of metro you need. (For tourism is better metro than bus).BUSAs you can imagine there are a lot of bus lines. In this web site you can find which linedo you need and how to get to your destination. It’s in catalan, sorry.http://www.tmb.cat/es/linias-de-busMETROThere are a lot of lines too but it is easier to show you the map. To use it (it’s the samefor the bus) you can buy a ticket just for a trip, a ticket for some days or a T10. Thesecond one is ok if you plan to use a lot the metro. If you don’t, use the T10. It costs8’25€ and it is for 10 trips. It’s important to know that if you change the metro linewithout leaving the exit control, it’s free. If you leave the exit control or change thetransport before 1:15h it is free to. So, for example, if you need to use metro, bus andtram to get to your destination, it will be just 1 trip if it doesn’t exceed the time. http://mascirugias.com/mapa-metro-de-barcelona-plano-2011TimetableFrom Monday to Thursday, Sunday and public holiday: from 5 to 24hFriday and festive vigil: from 5 to 2h.Saturday and vigil of 1/1, 24/6, 15/8 and 24/9: continual service.24th September: it finishes working at 23h.Prices1 day ticket: 5’80€ 3 days ticket: 14’30€2 days ticket: 10’70€ 4 days ticket: 19’50€ 8
