  • 10. Advantages: • Reusable • Economical • Easy to use • Requires little storage space • Portable Disadvantages: •Prone to noise •Easily tangled •Poor frequency response •Degrades after too much reusing •Sensitive to magnets, breakage and heat.

  • 12. Advantages: • Durable than a cassette tape • No background noise • Higher audio quality • Portable • Larger storage space Disadvantages: •Prone to scratches and damaged if not stored properly •Requires special drives to read and write
  • 13. MP3 (MPEG-1, MPEG-2 AUDIO LAYER 3) • Refers to technology that records, stores and reproduces sound by encoding an audio signal in a digital form instead of analog
  • 14. Advantages: • High quality of audio files • Use of multiple channels for the sound • Files do not degrade • Easily distributed • Can be played on multiple devices Disadvantages: •Easy file sharing may lead to copyright infringement.
