Process <ul><li>The electricity flows through the semi conductor gate by conveying the signal of binary of “0” and “1”. </li></ul><ul><li>The smaller the CPU, the faster the switching time; hence, faster process. </li></ul>*A video graphic processing unit uses the same methods. It processes only the visualization
  • 7. Storage Devices <ul><li>Hard disks </li></ul><ul><ul><li>It uses a non-magnetic platter coated with a magnetic materials. The platter spins at a high velocity. The information is written or read when it passes though the read and write heads. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The heads detect the magnetization of the platter. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The information is stored as binary digits format. </li></ul></ul>

Random Access Memory (RAM) <ul><li>It is kind of a circuit that is used to store the information by changing the state of circuit or by changing the charge of capacitor. </li></ul><ul><li>It needs to be fed by electricity. When the power is out, the memory will be reset; therefore, the information will be erased. </li></ul>
  • 9. Display <ul><li>In the modern world, the most popular type of monitor is LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). </li></ul><ul><li>A pitch of one pixel is made of liquid which reacts to voltage. When voltage flows to this pitch, the color will change. </li></ul>
