Must be willing to work as a volunteer. Great opportunity for professional hands-on training and growth! Will have title, dedicated email address, and business card. JOB DESCRIPTION: Position responsibilities to include: - Work with cross-functional Social Media team to: - CONNECT online by setting up accounts with free-access social networking websites such as MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, Second Life, phpBB and so on. - Conceptualize, develop, and deploy programs that increase online community awareness and participation. - Ensure content is compliant, meaningful, and current. - Interact with others on the above and various other services to develop an authoritative voice in our industry as well as provide easy ways for clients to connect with us online outside of our website - Position ADMSP as a leader in our industry - Stay abreast of industry trends, particularly social marketing and community sites. QUALIFICATIONS: - Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Access, Mac, online marketing strategies, methods, and tools. - Familiarity with Internet technologies. - Able to work flexible schedule as needed, including occasional evening hours. - Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. - Able to work effectively, balance and prioritize multiple requests. - Comfortable dealing with officers, donors, and board members. - Able to relate well to the public, in person and on the telephone. - Able to complete tasks within required deadlines. - Has a collaborative work ethic with strong interpersonal and problem solving skills. - Strong Project Management skills. - On top of emerging technologies and use of these to develop new programs and strategies. - Independent, strategic and creative thinker who is a strong team player and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary.
