    • Walls paintings are mainly influenced and inspired byArthur Rackham, with lesser influences fromsurrealist artists such as Magritte and Dalí, and theromanticism of the pre-Raphaelites. A number of herworks were exhibited in Teheran and Tokyo during 1974and her first solo exhibition took place the following yearin Swindon. Josephine and her paintings were the subjectof a special feature on Southern Television in 1990.Following a visit to the Spring Fair in Birmingham in1993 she signed contracts with firms in Britain andSwitzerland to publish her work as prints, posters andcards for worldwide distribution. Her originals andlimited edition prints by are often sold throughCourtenays Fine Art and Courtyard of Romance.In addition to a range of Limited Edition Prints,Josephine Wall continues to work with her exclusivelicensing agents Art Impressions in California who beganlicensing her work around the world in 1996. They areresponsible for finding the contacts and setting uplicensing deals. Apparently there is a rush to see who willget new images as they appear! It has been used forgreeting cards, calendars, posters, stained glass, crafttransfers (“T” shirts), journals, stationery, cheques andcheque covers, mugs, magnets, suncatchers, treasureboxes, wall murals, scrapbook paper sets, fabric squares,
    • exhibition at Londons Mall Gallery entitled “Art of theImagination”. Josephine has subsequently joined thecircle of artists in the society of the same name.Since then her works have been selected by Ron andYvette Emard (Founders of Courtyard of Romance) forexhibitions at New York Art Expo and have been thesubject of a book “The Fantasy World of Josephine Wall”,jointly published by the artist and Courtyard ofRomance. Pop singer Britney Spears has used a numberof Josephines images on her website. Britney alsopurchased a number of Limited Edition prints andJosephine is working on an original painting for her.Ron and Yvette Emard have also been featured in atleast two of Josephines paintings and are the proudowners of the largest private collection of Josephine Walloriginals in the world.In 2008, Sunbeams Initiatives, Inc., Jacksonville, Floridawas chosen as Josephines Official InternationalMarketing Group and "One Stop Shop" source for all ofher art. This includes retail and wholesale sales oforiginal paintings, prints, games, greeting cards, booksand other quality products which carry her name. Thecompany is headed by Dr. Patricia Sager as itsPresident and CEO. Dr. Sager personally handles much ofMs. Walls personal appearances and event planning
