  • 1. LOVING ONE ANOTHER 8 Each one has a part!
  • 2. John 15:9-12 (NLT)
    • 9 "I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love.
    • 10 When you obey me, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father and remain in his love.
  • 3. John 15:9-12 (NLT)
    • 11 I have told you this so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!
    • 12 I command you to love each other in the same way that I love you.
  • 4. 1 John 4:7-11 (NLT)
    • 7 Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
    • 8 But anyone who does not love does not know God—for God is love.
    • 9 God showed how much he loved us by sending his only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.
  • 5. 1 John 4:7-11 (NLT)
    • 10 This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
    • 11 Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.
  • 6. Matthew 7:12 (NLT)
    • 12 "Do for others what you would like them to do for you. This is a summary of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.
  • 7. Galatians 5:13-15 (NLT)
    • 13 For you have been called to live in freedom—not freedom to satisfy your sinful nature, but freedom to serve one another in love.
    • 14 For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
  • 8. Today!
    • Each one of us have a part!
  • 9. Romans 12:1-8 (NLT)
    • 1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask?
  • 10. Romans 12:1-8 (NLT)
    • 2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.
  • 11. Romans 12:1-8 (NLT)
    • 3 As God's messenger, I give each of you this warning: Be honest in your estimate of yourselves, measuring your value by how much faith God has given you.
  • 12. Proverbs 25:27 (NLT)
    • 27 Just as it is not good to eat too much honey, it is not good for people to think about all the honors they deserve.
  • 13. 1 Corinthians 4:6-7 (NLT)
    • 6 Dear brothers and sisters, I have used Apollos and myself to illustrate what I've been saying. If you pay attention to the Scriptures, you won't brag about one of your leaders at the expense of another
  • 14. 1 Corinthians 4:6-7 (NLT)
    • 7 What makes you better than anyone else? What do you have that God hasn't given you? And if all you have is from God, why boast as though you have accomplished something on your own?
  • 15. Galatians 6:3 (NLT)
    • 3 If you think you are too important to help someone in need, you are only fooling yourself. You are really a nobody.
  • 16. Ephesians 4:4-7 (NLT)
    • 4 We are all one body, we have the same Spirit, and we have all been called to the same glorious future.
    • 5 There is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
  • 17. Ephesians 4:4-7 (NLT)
    • 6 and there is only one God and Father, who is over us all and in us all and living through us all.
    • 7 However, he has given each one of us a special gift according to the generosity of Christ.
  • 18. Romans 12:1-8 (NLT)
    • 4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function,
    • 5 so it is with Christ's body. We are all parts of his one body, and each of us has different work to do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others.
  • 19. Romans 12:1-8 (NLT)
    • 6 God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out when you have faith that God is speaking through you.
    • 7 If your gift is that of serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching.
  • 20. Romans 12:1-8 (NLT)
    • 8 If your gift is to encourage others, do it! If you have money, share it generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
  • 21. SOME FACTS
    • to think about:
  • 22.
    • God has created a Destiny for each and every one of us!
    • That place is found in the reality of the fact that God loves us in the same way He loved Jesus Christ!
    • God wants us to go and love others in the same way He loves us!
  • 23. Here’s the key
    • “as we go and love others we will find our place and our gifts and our purpose on this earth!”
