Areas of Social Responsibility• Responsibility Toward The Environment – Air Pollution – Water Pollution – Land Pollution – Toxic Waste Disposal – Recycling• Responsibility Toward Customer – Consumer rights to safe product, be informed about all relevant aspects of a product, be heard, to choose what they buy, to be educated about purchase, courteous service – Unfair pricing – Ethics is advertising
  6. 6. Areas of Social Responsibility• Responsibility Toward Employees – Legal and social commitments – Ethical Commitments• Responsibility Toward Investors – Improper Financial Management – Check Kiting – Insider Trading – Misrepresentation of Finances

Approaches to Social Responsibility• Obstructionist Stance Approach to social responsibility that involves doing as little as possible and may involve attempts to deny or cover up violations• Defensive Stance Approach to social responsibility by which a company meets only minimum legal requirements in its commitments to groups and individuals in its social environment• Accommodative Stance Approach to social responsibility by which a company, if specifically asked to do so, exceeds legal minimums in its commitments to groups and individuals in its social environment• Proactive Stance Approach to social responsibility by which a company actively seeks opportunities to contribute to the well-being of groups and individuals in its social environment

Tugas• Visi misi perusahaan• Bagaimana Budaya dalam perusahaan• Analisis perilaku bisnis terhadap karyawan, Organisasi, agen ekonomi lainnya• Individu apa yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan• Adakah Social Responsibility dalam perusahaan itu?• Jika ada bagaimana social responsibility di perusahaannya?2. Buatlah model pembuatan keputusan etis (griffin) & prinsip-prinsip inti dan nilai-nilai organisasi, serta Jelaskan!
